Against the Wind is an original Grade 3–4 marching band production about perseverance in the face of forces we cannot always see. Across four movements— Headwind, Crosswind, Still Standing, and Forward—the show follows a journey through resistance, uncertainty, and ultimately triumph.
The journey begins with the challenge of pushing directly against the wind. As the forces shift and new obstacles emerge, the performers must find a way to maintain their direction. A more reflective moment recognizes the strength it takes simply to remain standing before the production gathers momentum and moves forward.
With opportunities for expressive movement, shifting formations, and visual contrasts between resistance and release, Against the Wind gives directors a flexible concept for the field. Its story of determination and hope invites performers and audiences to find their own meaning in the journey.

Regional Exclusivity
Each full-show purchase includes title-specific regional exclusivity, subject to availability. Once reserved, the same production will not be licensed to another school within approximately 100 miles of your program for that competitive season. Exclusivity follows the geographic radius across state lines and remains in effect through December 31.
